Meet the SLP
Danielle Korte, M.S., CCC-SLP
Hi! I am Danielle and I am the owner of Empowering Connections Speech Therapy. I have been a speech-language pathologist since 2017. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation facilities, schools, and as a graduate clinician supervisor for Baylor University.
I obtained my Bachelor's of Science (B.S.) in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of the Incarnate Word and my Master's of Science (M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Woman's University. I maintain the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and hold a Texas License in Speech-Language Pathology.

At Empowering Connections Speech Therapy, Danielle's goal is to help children develop the speech and language skills necessary to fulfill their basic human right of communication in order to build lasting connections with those around them.
Communication for ALL
After being challenged with creating the first playground communication board for my previous district, Danielle realized that these boards should be a staple on every playground. Danielle wanted to make the process of obtaining a playground communication board simpler for SLPs, schools, and communities and to open up a multitude of communication opportunities for children during their most important work, play.
